Looking for a fun evening out with your pet? As we’ve posted before, Annapolis has many options.
But if you’re looking for a change of pace, Ellicott City is a great place to try. Ellicott City is located in Howard County, right next to Anne Arundel County.
Not far from Edgewater, Odenton, Glen Burnie, Laurel, and more of the areas serviced by Tails on Trails, Ellicott City is just about as dog friendly as Annapolis. Once again many of the stores allow you to bring your pet in as well as offer treats and water for them to enjoy. It’s a historic town with a great little Main Street that is quaint and very walkable.
The most dog friendly event in Ellicott City is the Yappy Hour. Yappy Hour takes place the first Friday at the Wine Bin. From 6-9pm, attendees can enjoy wine and chocolate tastings as well as live music. There are vendors present, and each Yappy Hour is dedicated to a different non-profit.
Tomorrow’s Yappy Hour at the Wine Bin benefits the Animal Advocates of Howard County. It’s sure to be full of a variety of dogs who will be out enjoying the beautiful weather and welcoming atmosphere at the Wine Bin.
